Donna R. Brinkle established this school in 1976 with the intention of better educating her children. She did this back in the time when Homeschool was taboo. She went through all the necessary steps to establish this school with the Department of Education in Tallahassee under FL Statute 623.
One of the reasons our school was organized was to foster the free exercise of religion and love of country, therefore, prayers are given at all school functions as well as the Pledge of Allegiance.
While our standards are founded upon Christian principles, our private school is not an affiliate of a particular religious sect or church. Neither are it's administrators, faculty, and students required to be members of any particular religious sect or church. This is an area of individual and family choice. Because an education which excludes "knowledge of God" produces "speed without direction", we encourage everyone to pray and study God's word from K-12th grade. We accept "Religion" as a yearly course elective but one credit in Religious Study is a required subject for High School graduation. In order to join you must agree to the following declaration of religious principles:
"We recognize and worship a creator who made all things; that this Creator has revealed a moral code of behavior for happy living which distinguishes right from wrong; that this Creator holds mankind responsible for the way they treat each other; that all mankind lives beyond this life; that in the next life individuals are judged for their conduct in this one; and that the daily renewing of one's knowledge of and faith in their Creator through prayer and the study of the Holy Scriptures can strengthen one individually and all as a nation."
These are the basis of our educational foundation.
Now, that you know a little about us, would you like to enroll with our school?
